I am a curious person who has travelled extensively and, over the years, has learned to appreciate things made with care, as they used to be.

This website, Elegant Routes, was created simply to showcase the finest leather travel bags, handmade by skilled artisans.

The products we sell have been chosen based on a fundamental principle: I believe it is right to promote products that are high quality, durable and reasonably priced.

In a sea of increasingly anonymous bags of ever-lower quality, all identical and priced insultingly low, I believe that going against the grain will not be a lonely journey.

Instead, I have chosen only a few brands and a few products to keep my promise to offer quality products that are the result of Italian craftsmanship.

Whether they are travel bags, backpacks, laptop bags or shoulder bags, what makes the difference is the dedication that expert Italian craftsmen put into choosing the materials and producing them.

I think I will find people who share my love for handcrafted items, and I will gladly repay their trust by meticulously preparing each package to ensure that everything is perfect.

If I find only a few people who will follow me on this journey along the ‘Elegant Routes’, I will not be disappointed: ‘better few but good’, as my grandfather used to say.
